I am a multi-disciplinary hands on user experience designer with a track record of delivering beautifully engaging products. In the past few years I have been a UX design leader on two multinational SaaS rebrands for Oracle and Splunk, both of which have increased brand awareness and have received industry accolades and awards. Previous to that I have had success leading multi-channel campaigns for advertising agencies, large and small, and won a few awards along the way.

Michael’s creative conviction is complemented by his ability to produce great quality interactive design and animation work. Whether in support of new campaigns or extensions to established design systems, his willingness to question and provide alternatives even to the most vetted direction always delivered success for the organization. Michael’s positive and diligent approach to his work made him a sought after collaborator across different teams. His contributions to a rebrand initiative across marketing and development were instrumental to establish the foundation of Oracle’s next-gen digital experiences.
Michael is a highly skilled interactive designer who quickly distinguished himself as one of the most capable designers on Oracle’s Brand Interactive team. With a wide range of abilities in his toolkit, from UX and UI to motion design, I knew I could depend on him to consistently deliver exceptional experiences. Always an outspoken design thinker, Michael is adept at justifying his design decisions with careful consideration. He is an effective communicator in project meetings, able to speak to team members and stakeholders alike with confidence and tact. Demonstrating versatility across multiple teams and projects, Michael sets a great example for the type of multifaceted collaborator I always look for in a designer. I believe he would be a valuable asset and key contributor to the long-term success of any digital team.
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Michael for 1.5 years, during which we collaborated on several high-profile design projects at Oracle. I was very impressed with Michael’s ability to translate business requirements into engaging web experiences through thoughtful visual design and expertise in motion design. He’s also a genuinely caring and open person, who’s quick to share his knowledge of all the best lunch spots in the Financial District! Michael would be a great asset for any company looking for an experienced design leader.
I had the pleasure of working with Michael at Oracle, collaborating on several interactive projects while he was my go-to motion design resource. Michael is a very talented and creative artist with a great mind for clean and effective design. He is highly skilled in brand development and is a natural leader. I would highly recommend Michael to anyone who is looking for a multi-talented designer to join their team.
Michael is a true craftsman of his work. I have worked with Michael for over 12 years and have brought him in to elevate our teams at varying organizations that I have been with. His creative eye, leadership and vision is quite extraordinary. I plan on working with him for a long time.
“Mike is a very talented Art Director that I have really enjoyed working with at a couple of agencies. Mike is very unique in that he has very solid conceptual design, strategic and art direction skills but also has the knowledge and versatility to work on UX and highly technical projects. He always has a great attitude, is the ultimate team player and is by far one of the most professional Art Directors that I have had the opportunity to work with in my career. Mike would be a great addition to any team. I would highly recommend him.”
