Our team was asked to design a template for promoting upcoming theatrical releases. Primarily the experience would be built to provide a long branded engagement intended to drive ticket sales and increase enthusiasm and awareness using games, videos, photos and social. The first release to promote and build the template around would be Monsters University, a sequel to Monsters Inc. from Pixar.
As the creative lead on a small team, we designed and developed a robust, media-rich, entertaining and rewarding experience focused on broadening awareness and promoting ticket sales. My contributions to this project were extensive: visual design, user interface design, user experience design, motion design, game design and interaction design.
